We have had a huge influx of questions for the upcoming season, especially with our new Junior event.
With this in mind, we have decided to push entries opening until 22nd July @ 7pm. This way racers can have time to work out what categories they’re in and ask any more questions.
– For racers new to Downhill, your category to race in is determined by the age you are on the 31st of December, 2025. For example, if you are turning 15 in November 2025 – you will be racing in Under 17 category. If you turn 15 in February 2026, you will race in Under 15 category.
– NZDH will align with Cycling NZ Protection Policy. Full face helmets will be mandatory for all categories, including our Junior Race.
– NZDH Junior, will now have an Under 15 Female Only category.
– You MUST be 13+ by end of December 2025 to race in NZDH. For our super speedy Under 13 riders, we will hold wildcard spaces at all 4 races following the NZDH Junior, for the top 3 female & male in Under 13 (& Under 15 female only) for them to compete. These entries will be offered following the Junior event.
– Entries will be $95 per round.
